Sunday School

The Sunday School Program is entirely a volunteer organization; we appreciate all the support you provide us. If you are interested in volunteering your time or talents, you may e-mail us at lmalahias@yahoo.com, or you may complete the Sunday School Volunteer Form and place it in the Sunday School mailbox that is located in the Main Office.

As we prepare for the 2009-2010 ecclesiastical year, we note the following open positions. Any amount of time that you can give us is most appreciated. If you prefer to be in church on Sunday mornings, you can help us with the many programs being conducted throughout the year or with school supplies.

• Teachers
  Our goal is to have 2 teachers per classroom to allow the necessary flexibility. All teachers cannot be present every Sunday morning, and thus having two teachers allows proper classroom coverage.
  
• 1st Grade: 1 teacher
• 4th Grade: 1 teacher
• 7th Grade: 2 teachers
• 8th Grade: 1 teacher

• Support Staff
• Administrative support: managing administrative desk on Sunday mornings.
• Support with Sunday School projects (i.e., Christmas Pageant, St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival, Holiday Food Drives, End of the Year Awards, etc.)

• School Supplies
• Pens, pencils, magic markers, sharpies for whiteboard, crayons, etc.
• Creative Supplies - Glue, scotch tapes, pipes, etc.
• Construction paper, folders, paper, etc.
