Senior Citizens News for September/October 2003

We had our Father’s Day and Mothers Day luncheon at the Willows on June 14th 2003. Our guest speaker was Father Anthony Pappas. Stella Tsinetakis presented a token of appreciation to Mary Blazakis and Evangelos Makropoulos, who were named mother and father of the year. Ben Scalia made a very eloquent presentation to Father Pappas for all of his guidance to the church and to our many private lives. We can’t say enough to thank him. As a token of our appreciation, we presented him with a basket full of goodies. We wish Father the very best in his retirement and we want him to know that we are always here for him. It was such a beautiful day together and the food was delicious.

Our next bit of business is our first meeting on Saturday September 13th at 12 noon. We have a lot to talk about especially our coming trips.
