Senior Citizens News for March 2003

After all that beautiful snow and the recent blizzard, our thoughts are now on the upcoming spring season and the warmth and sunshine.

We are happy to report that about 250 of our senior citizen members traveled to St. George Church in Trenton to attend the Valentine's Luncheon, which was held on Wednesday, 12 February. It was a beautiful affair and everyone enjoyed it very much. We were treated to a delicious chicken dinner and all of us received a heart-shaped box of chocolates. We will be inviting as our guests the members of the St. George Church in Trenton to our luncheon, which will be held in October 2003.

At the next Senior Citizens meeting, which will be held on Saturday, March 8, we will be honoring our chanter, Manolis Antonakakis, for his 55 years of dedicated service.
