The purpose of JOY (Junior Orthodox Youth) and HOPE
is to gather and create Orthodox Christian fellowship for children
ages 8-12 and 4-7 respectively. By making friendships earlier on,
the children will want to come and participate later for GOYA (Greek
Orthodox Youth of America) and have a greater participation in the
Greek Orthodox Christian community. Our meetings are broken into
three parts. One part will be with Fr Alex introducing the theme
of the meeting followed by group discussions on that theme. The
other part of our meeting involves the craft and the last part is
the games and snacks. The HOPE and JOY kids will be separated for
the discussions and craft parts, but they will be together for the
games and snacks.
