GOYA News for October 2003
The GOYA year has finally started.
Basketball, Volleyball and Dance practices have all begun and kids
are very enthusiastic about up coming games and dance performances.
The most anticipated event since the end of GOYA last year is on October
3rd, the Kick Off Dance in Orange its a great chance for kids to see old
friends and to meet new ones to have fun with the rest of the year.
The first general meeting will be October 5th where new GOYA members
are more then welcome to sign up for the Mr. and Miss GOYA Pageant, a
competition between representatives from churches all over the state,
followed by a semiformal dance at the Pines Manor. As well as, the annual
trip to Boston where our GOYA has a fun-filled 3 days in Boston visiting
the city and the Hellenic College. All these events plus many more are
under way and all the youth is more then welcome to come and join the
experience.
