Church Administration

The Orthodox Church is a member of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople . It is a body that uses the ancient synodical system in its administration.

The Ecumenical Patriarch in Constantinople is the Titular head of all the world's Orthodox and in his relationships among the other ancient Patriarchates of the Church, he is honored as "the first among equals". The Greek Orthodox Church of America is under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. The Saint George Greek Orthodox Church is a parish in the Metropolis of New Jersey, which is headquartered in Kenilworth, NJ.

The Saint George Church operates a Sunday school, Greek Language School, Adults and Children Choirs, Ladies Philoptochos (philanthropic) Society, Senior Citizens Group, Altar Boys, Parent-Teacher Organization, Bible Studies and our youth programs which include GOYA, JOY and HOPE and Moms and Tots.
